I met Ilona 3 years ago when I was struggling with knee pain. I had a goal of completing my first half marathon, but knee pain was making it difficult.
After a detailed intake meeting, Ilona made a plan that fit my schedule and my goal. Her approach is always well balanced between my running goal and my personal life. 
Her plan proved highly effective and I successfully ran my first half marathon. Recently she coached me to complete my first full marathon!

From the beginning she has treated me as an athlete and always respects my input. Not only is she highly knowledgeable about all aspects of running (including nutrition), but she is a really pleasant person to work with.

She always finds positive things when training doesn't go the way I had hoped. She gives calm and objective advice when I feel down or nervous before the race. With Ilona I have learned to enjoy the training journey and I realized that I can achieve things I never expected possible. So far I’m injury free thanks to Ilona’s workout regimen and I’m looking forward to working with her to complete a 50K race next year!
